Reaching out to your neighbours – COVID-19

In the past 24 hours, there have been numerous ways communities have been coming together to help the vulnerable and those in need. It’s been incredible to see how many people are putting initiatives in place to be there for others.

Two of these initiatives are the Kindness Cards and the Circle of Love. Both of these initiatives involve printing these small image onto paper or card stock to create an invitation that you put in your neighours’ mailboxes to offer your help. There are so many of us who are taking all the necessary precautions and are able to help those who can’t leave their homes.

If you are interested in either of these cards, simply save the image to your computer, print it and then deliver them to your neighbours’ mailboxes. You can put them in plastic sandwiches bags to protect them and wipe them down with a disinfectant wipe before you put it in their mailbox.

Have other ideas? Reach out to us and let’s share! You can also share on our Facebook page or tag us in Twitter. We’d love to hear from you!

Let’s continue to band together as a community through this challenging time.
