Kim was a young mother and when she had to face the loss of her daughter, she went into a dark, dark place, as she puts it. Following that experience, she never thought she’d ever be a mother to a child again. Through her strength, courage, therapy and a very special piece of paper, she got through it all and ended up mothering eleven other children, her most recent for the past eleven years. This boy is a a special-needs child, one who has Kim at the children’s hospital regularly and for days and sometimes weeks at a time. But that doesn’t phase her. She keeps moving forward!
We pay tribute to Kim today and share with you a very special woman who has a very loving and giving heart and wants others to know that living for today’s most precious gifts is the best way of living.
